  9. By installing the software onto your HPC, you are consenting to be 
  10. bound by the License Agreement. If you do not agree to the terms of 
  11. the License Agreement, do not copy any of the files contained onto 
  12. your HPC!

  14. ATTENTION:

  16. the timing accuracy of oPenStop depends on the windows timer 
  17. and the system clock of your HPC and is therefore NOT suitable for 
  18. any critical time measurements and may vary on different hardware 
  19. platforms and software configurations !

  21. Hardware notes:
  22. ===============
  23. The programm adapts it's screenwidth automatically so it runs on
  24. 640 wide (HP 300/320 LX) as well as 480 wide screens (all other HPC manufacturers).

  26. How to install:
  27. ===============
  28. 1) Read LICENCE.TXT
  29. 2) unzip the oPenStop xxx.exe file to a temporary directory on your PC
  30. 3) connect your HPC and start the HPC Explorer
  31. 4) copy the .exe to the HPC. We recommend that you first create a 
  32.    new sub-directory "oPenStop" in "Program Files" and then copy the
  33.    exe.
  34. 5) Create an (optional) Desktop short cut. To do so, select openStop.exe
  35.    and open the "File" menu. Select "Desktop Shortcut" and voilß you're
  36.    up and ready to use oPenStop.

  40. How to uninstall:

  43. 1) delete the oPenStop.exe on your HPC.

  46. How to register:
  47. ================

  49. The price for a registered copy is US $ 15.00.
  50.  
  51. 1.You download our program, decompress the downloaded file and copy 
  52.   the exe onto your HPC. 
  53. 2.You test our software and decide it's worth the money and want to 
  54.   have a registered version. 
  55. 3.You therefore call the registration form and following the 
  56.   instructions enter your name, your credit card nummer and the 
  57.   expiration date. This data will be bitwise encrypted at random 
  58.   locations into a textfile of random size (5-8 k max) full of random 
  59.   characters. This file can found in your "My HPC" directory. 
  60. 4.You then attach this text file to an email addressed to 
  61.   "reg@open-software.de". We would appreciate your full address 
  62.   information as email contents
  63. 5.We will send you a reply mail with your personal registration id as
  64.   fast as we can. 
  65. 6.You call the registration form a second time, enter you personal 
  66.   registration id and from then on you are a registered user. 
  67.   The registration notice and the reminder messages will be gone 
  68.   forever - or at least until you reinstall the program.

  70. The registration id you receive is valid for all releases of the 
  71. registered version. That is, in case of a bugfix you just have to 
  72. replace the exe and need not reregister. 
  73. For eventual new versions you will be able to use your registration id 
  74. for special upgrade prices.
